The Very Last Day of 2008

My boss granted us to work half day today. It's does sounds great but still I have to work extra hours to get my job done. Left work about 3pm plus. I am tired.

It's New Year's eve today. Kenny is working since last night until the dawn of tomorrow. Scary work schedule. I'm going nowhere to countdown tonight. Hate the crowd of people out there. Better still to enjoy my aromatherapy at home.

Wishing everybody good health so that you may enjoy each day in comfort.

Happy New Year!

Suffered From Stomach Flu

Stomach flu at 01:30 a.m. on Christmas Eve. How great...horrible diarrhea and vomiting. My darling Kenny and my mama was there for me when I needed them most.

I was moved by what Kenny did on that rainy night. He came over to my house and carried me to the 24 hour clinic then hospital. Yes, I was hospitalized. I could not stand on my own feet as I was too weak and was having severe stomach pain. Ouchh!! (I still can recall the pain now!)

Mama and Kenny accompanied me throughout the whole night in the hospital to make sure that I was okay. Love my mama and my darling for being there for me. Kenny never sleep throughout the whole night and headed to work early morning right after I was discharged from the hospital. *I felt guilty*

I am now back to my healthy state :)

Kluang

I'm back from 3 days trip to Kluang yesterday. Kluang is a very small undeveloped town and it is about 1/3 size of Ipoh. The town is mostly occupied by the Malay.
I took a train down with my boyfriend Kenny and his mom for their hometown visit. It was my ever first trip to Malaysia by taking a KTM train. To my surprise, KTM train is not that bad as I thought. It traveled quite fast. The interior of the train is in good condition and the air-cond works just cold enough.

After 2.5 hours journey, we finally reached Kluang. I was being introduced to most of Kenny's relatives. He said the most VIP person that I need to meet was his sister. I met her. She was a very friendly, talkative, long-winded and humorous.

Angel 7 years old and Anson 3 years old
I also met with Kenny's niece. The girls are so adorable, smart and good-at-talking. I'm glad that they love the toys that I bought for them ;)

The entire trip brought me closer to Kenny's family. I felt so lucky that I am being treated so well by his sister and his mom. I'm glad to have found Kenny, who changed and brought colors to my life. Baby, I'm sorry for being too subdue. I love you heaps and wish to go for more vacation trip with you in the near future!

Too much

I fell sick again today. Been caught in too much sickness recently. I don't felt like going to work anymore. My body felt as heavy as a lifting machine. In recent weeks, I dragged myself to work. There are heaps to do and too little time for me. What's more as there is unfairly treatment from the management. I can't give up now. I must carry on and achieve what I want. Wish me luck.

Coins, coins, coins

Did lots of coin-counting in the office today. It took me more than half an hour to have get it done.

I definitely need a hand and arm massage!

Without You

It's been the longest days without you. If you ask how much do I miss you, I can't tell. I just know that my heart feels sorrow when I think of you...

I miss you as much as you missed me.

Lost Consciousness Again and AGAIN!

Phewww....yes, this my freaking THIRD time losing consciousness. Yesterday morning I lost my consciousness AGAIN when i'm on my way to work. Don't asked me why it happened for the doctor not making any further comments bout it. I will just changed my usual routine just like before by taking breakfast before I leave my house and monitor the progress.

I'm getting phobias of this...please don't make me go through it again! :(

Another Blissful Night

My little sister just got married :)

The wedding solemnization held at a very peaceful and blissful place at Garden Asia.

I am happy that you finally found and married to the one that you had went through a lot with. All the downheartedness previously were all replaced with the happiness that you got right now.

Best wishes to you both. There are things in life as important as love and nothing as important as trust. Make trust the foundation of your marriage. This will become the cornerstones of faith, love, humor and forgiveness. The marriage that you build will be solid and strong.

We will be always be there for you. I love you and we are happy for you, Nat.

Going Crazy

My work has gone completely haywire. Colleagues tendered and replacement has not been found yet. I am being fully utilized. I am tired...and stressed.

Frustrated with a result that I could not influence.

Regretful of a moment that I could not support.

Sad about an outcome that was least desired.

I can’t stop sighing.

I was surprised by receiving these flowers from you. You seems to know it when I needed to be pampered. It does made my day. Thank you :)

Am I really taking it too hard on myself? I am sighing in exchange for fresh air...

Party In My Office

Few hours ago, there was a small celebration at my office for my colleague's birthday.

We happily feasted on delicious food.

And even watched a movie in the conference room after that!

Turning in for my beauty sleep now...

My Favorite Diversion

It's been quite a while since I had my first attempt in ice skating about 2 years ago. Last weekend, I went for my second attempt with Kenny. Both of us are beginners. I managed to skate without falling this time! :) Kenny fell down thrice but he eventually learnt his skill. I'm planning for more attempts! It's the same skill that can be applied for roller-blading too. Gonna go for roller-blading pretty soon again. Needa brush up my skills.

On the very same day, I had my first experience for fish therapy. The sensation was ticklish and fun. I giggled all the way! Tiny toothless fish nibbled off the dead skin on my feet. I tried not to move my feet to make sure that the fish were not frightened. My feet are clean now :)

I feed my feet to the fish

Forget about the hectic and scary work schedules of mine. I'm avoiding it temporary. I need some time management. More sports and activities are lining up!

Yearning

Throughout the last week, I played sports consecutively. Basketball, tennis and swimming. It was awesome for I have not felt so relieved. I have not engaged in any sports for quite a while since I'm married to my current job.

Headed for a spa indulgence at Helio Asia lately. The experience is good. Simply love the shiatsu massage. Thanks to my friend Kenny, for the arrangement.

Intended to go for roller-blading yesterday but it didn't work out. Blame it on the weather. I've been wanting to go for extreme sports such as bungee jump someday. How good it is if I could enjoy doing things that I like every now and then. It's pity that my job often takes up most of my time.

Friends and family often asked me, why don't you change your job? You see, self-challenge is what I'm looking at. Sometimes, I felt like running away from my work. Let's face it, how long you could do such?

Life is just all the pain we endeavour...

Down With Bad Flu

I am down with the flu since last week. Seen the doctor twice but still progressing very slow. Blame it that I didn't take enough rest previously when I caught the flu. Took sick leave today and rest at home.

First Tattoo Experience

Getting my first tattoo was pretty scary. I always wanted one, so I got it for myself as my birthday present. When I saw Nat's second tattoo, I was more convinced to get one. Nat and Rian came along with me to EZ Tattoo to get my tattoo done. I had it done at the back of my neck.

I did not respond to anyone during the whole process of tattooing. Whenever the needle hits my nerve points, I felt it poking me hardly. Nevertheless,
painfully. Based on the pain rating scales below, it rated 7.

I wanted to get two tattoos actually. The other one will be at my lower back. It is too painful for me to get two at the same time. Shall do the second one next time.

I absolutely LOVE it! Thanks to David the tattooist, for doing the great job.

My Celebrations

This year, I have multiple celebrations for my birthday.

On last Friday, I had four different flavors of little cakes which were bought by Rian. Delicious cakes made the night more enjoyable and beautiful. What's more when I can enjoy it with colourful fireworks in the dark sky.

Veron came up to Singapore for her holiday and celebrated my birthday on last Saturday. Rushed down to meet fellow Ipoh friends at Vivo City. We feasted on Sushi Tei for the dinner.

Tiramisu was my second birthday cake.

The night was too windy that it blew off some of the candles just before I did. Do I not deserved to blow too many candles for my age? :p

Veron, sorry I didn't manage to show you the club in Singapore here as I promised before. Shall take you there on your next trip.

Met with Nat and Rian on the exact day of my birthday for lunch at NYDC. The food was not bad but we were being soaked in the rain due to their poor shelter. It rained heavily for the whole day :( Hate it when it happened during the day time.

This is my third birthday cake. Lemon cheese! Love cheese cakes :p

Feasted on western food at Jack's Place with my colleagues together with Nat and Rian. I have indulged in different varieties of nice food for the past few weeks. I have eaten more than one birthday cake. Thank you for everything that you guys had done for me! I had celebrated my birthday happily and peacefully.

I was on leave on my birthday. My colleague called me up in the morning and told me that someone has sent a bouquet of flowers together with a gift to my office.

I was stunned for a while and pondered over who could that be. It was unexpected and was quite surprised though when I found out that it was one of my friend who did it. That's so sweet of you, EL. In fact, you made most of my colleagues felt so jealous of me. Hahaha.

Thank you for the pressie once again ;)

Help Out Now

I saw BreadTalk is selling panda buns @ SGD2.00 each to raise funds for Szechuan's earthquake victims. For those who didn't know where and how to donate to those victims, all you gotta do is to quickly purchase this bun and help them.

Long weekend

It's a long weekend on last week.

Celebrated Nat's birthday on last Friday at Manhattan Fish Market (MFM) with my colleagues. The food is good. The cake is good too.

The MFM's staff sang a loud birthday song to Nat. They got a surprised for her - candles that never light off whenever she blows it. It's so funny when she blew at it again and again and the candle's light just won't light off. We laughed at her all the way.

I'm glad that everyone enjoyed the dinner. It proved that I recommended the right place for the right occasion :)

Last Sunday, my fellow friends treated me to a wonderful advanced birthday dinner at Hot Stones located at Clarke Quay.

I had Tenderloin Steak for my main course. It is served in raw where you have to grill the meats on the hot marble stones.

The food tasted heavenly although that the portion was too little. My fellow friends headed for their heavy supper afterwards. I would say that Hot Stones it's not value for money but it's a great experience to try it out. Thanks for the dinner, guys ;)

Received some pressies from my fellow dear friends. This is a perfect gift for the perfect timing. An OSIM face mask. I have been working late for the past few months which left me feeling fatigue and lethargic
.

This is a dual therapy face mask. So far, I have tried it in a cold therapy and it work wonders. It is so easy to use and convenient for me.

Next, an OSIM iPen.

This is not an usual normal pen. Besides writing, the other end of the pen has a gentle vibrating textured head that stimulates. Look, since when did I said that
*cough* it is a *cough*cough* vibrator *cough*.

Naughty, naughty, you. It is a accupressure massager. It works by simply pressing the vibrating head of the massager onto your face or any part of your body to release tension and stress.

How thoughtful my fellow friends are. They must be thinking that I might be ended up too stressful at work. So, they got me something to play with while working. Thank you for the great pressies my dear friends ;)

No Place Like Home

Home sweet home. I was back in Ipoh on last weekend. The first person that I wanted to meet most was my little niece, Wan Ruo.

Do you want a kiss from me?

I was lucky enough that I am able to celebrate Wan Ruo's full month celebration a few days in advanced. Lots of them came to see her.

I believed that Wan Ruo was enjoyed being in the limelight. Thank you all for attending to her party and the gifts that we received. I wish that I could spent more time with you, Wan Ruo. Even that just watching you sleep, it makes me smile ;)

God be with you 'til we meet again...

I had a splendid time with an old friend in a restaurant named Citrus and the food was satisfactory. I do enjoyed the feeling of being pampered by good food where all the expenses will be borne by the guy and that is what a gentleman should do for his date.

I brought my parents for steamboat to celebrate both advanced Mother's and Father's Day. I even brought them to the Starbucks where they can enjoyed their favorite coffee. I can see that they really love Starbucks coffee and their cosy environment. My parents wouldn't have come to this place on their own to have a taste of such aromatic coffee because they still feel that it's not worth paying five times more than a normal coffee in the kopitiam. This is where I should play my part as filial daughter and bring them there.

For the first time, I went for karaoke in Ipoh and sang for 5 hours. To my surprise, the songs selection here is more updated than Singapore. They served more drinks and it's far more cheaper. Afterwards, I headed for the official grand opening at Sincero Riverbank. There were cocktails and desserts being served. It wasn't a gratifying event after all.

Fireworks were being shot into the night sky. I like the outdoor environment of Sincero Riverbank as it was cosy enough for you to enjoyed the drinks.Five days trip in Ipoh has finally ended...

David Tao's Live Concert

David Tao's live concert performance amused me. It was awesome.

He sang quite a number of songs on that night. His concert performance lasted more than two hours. It was the longest concert that I ever watched before. Whenever David begin to sing slow rock songs, the entire crowd would kept silence. His voice it's so soothing goooood.

I simply love his songs.

Torn

*Sobsssssss* Today definitely is not my day. One of my favorite skirt is torn with a big hole! Such a careless me :(

Awww...hopefully that my mama could help me patch it back nicely.
