First Tattoo Experience

Getting my first tattoo was pretty scary. I always wanted one, so I got it for myself as my birthday present. When I saw Nat's second tattoo, I was more convinced to get one. Nat and Rian came along with me to EZ Tattoo to get my tattoo done. I had it done at the back of my neck.

I did not respond to anyone during the whole process of tattooing. Whenever the needle hits my nerve points, I felt it poking me hardly. Nevertheless,
painfully. Based on the pain rating scales below, it rated 7.

I wanted to get two tattoos actually. The other one will be at my lower back. It is too painful for me to get two at the same time. Shall do the second one next time.

I absolutely LOVE it! Thanks to David the tattooist, for doing the great job.

My Celebrations

This year, I have multiple celebrations for my birthday.

On last Friday, I had four different flavors of little cakes which were bought by Rian. Delicious cakes made the night more enjoyable and beautiful. What's more when I can enjoy it with colourful fireworks in the dark sky.

Veron came up to Singapore for her holiday and celebrated my birthday on last Saturday. Rushed down to meet fellow Ipoh friends at Vivo City. We feasted on Sushi Tei for the dinner.

Tiramisu was my second birthday cake.

The night was too windy that it blew off some of the candles just before I did. Do I not deserved to blow too many candles for my age? :p

Veron, sorry I didn't manage to show you the club in Singapore here as I promised before. Shall take you there on your next trip.

Met with Nat and Rian on the exact day of my birthday for lunch at NYDC. The food was not bad but we were being soaked in the rain due to their poor shelter. It rained heavily for the whole day :( Hate it when it happened during the day time.

This is my third birthday cake. Lemon cheese! Love cheese cakes :p

Feasted on western food at Jack's Place with my colleagues together with Nat and Rian. I have indulged in different varieties of nice food for the past few weeks. I have eaten more than one birthday cake. Thank you for everything that you guys had done for me! I had celebrated my birthday happily and peacefully.

I was on leave on my birthday. My colleague called me up in the morning and told me that someone has sent a bouquet of flowers together with a gift to my office.

I was stunned for a while and pondered over who could that be. It was unexpected and was quite surprised though when I found out that it was one of my friend who did it. That's so sweet of you, EL. In fact, you made most of my colleagues felt so jealous of me. Hahaha.

Thank you for the pressie once again ;)

Help Out Now

I saw BreadTalk is selling panda buns @ SGD2.00 each to raise funds for Szechuan's earthquake victims. For those who didn't know where and how to donate to those victims, all you gotta do is to quickly purchase this bun and help them.

Long weekend

It's a long weekend on last week.

Celebrated Nat's birthday on last Friday at Manhattan Fish Market (MFM) with my colleagues. The food is good. The cake is good too.

The MFM's staff sang a loud birthday song to Nat. They got a surprised for her - candles that never light off whenever she blows it. It's so funny when she blew at it again and again and the candle's light just won't light off. We laughed at her all the way.

I'm glad that everyone enjoyed the dinner. It proved that I recommended the right place for the right occasion :)

Last Sunday, my fellow friends treated me to a wonderful advanced birthday dinner at Hot Stones located at Clarke Quay.

I had Tenderloin Steak for my main course. It is served in raw where you have to grill the meats on the hot marble stones.

The food tasted heavenly although that the portion was too little. My fellow friends headed for their heavy supper afterwards. I would say that Hot Stones it's not value for money but it's a great experience to try it out. Thanks for the dinner, guys ;)

Received some pressies from my fellow dear friends. This is a perfect gift for the perfect timing. An OSIM face mask. I have been working late for the past few months which left me feeling fatigue and lethargic
.

This is a dual therapy face mask. So far, I have tried it in a cold therapy and it work wonders. It is so easy to use and convenient for me.

Next, an OSIM iPen.

This is not an usual normal pen. Besides writing, the other end of the pen has a gentle vibrating textured head that stimulates. Look, since when did I said that
*cough* it is a *cough*cough* vibrator *cough*.

Naughty, naughty, you. It is a accupressure massager. It works by simply pressing the vibrating head of the massager onto your face or any part of your body to release tension and stress.

How thoughtful my fellow friends are. They must be thinking that I might be ended up too stressful at work. So, they got me something to play with while working. Thank you for the great pressies my dear friends ;)

No Place Like Home

Home sweet home. I was back in Ipoh on last weekend. The first person that I wanted to meet most was my little niece, Wan Ruo.

Do you want a kiss from me?

I was lucky enough that I am able to celebrate Wan Ruo's full month celebration a few days in advanced. Lots of them came to see her.

I believed that Wan Ruo was enjoyed being in the limelight. Thank you all for attending to her party and the gifts that we received. I wish that I could spent more time with you, Wan Ruo. Even that just watching you sleep, it makes me smile ;)

God be with you 'til we meet again...

I had a splendid time with an old friend in a restaurant named Citrus and the food was satisfactory. I do enjoyed the feeling of being pampered by good food where all the expenses will be borne by the guy and that is what a gentleman should do for his date.

I brought my parents for steamboat to celebrate both advanced Mother's and Father's Day. I even brought them to the Starbucks where they can enjoyed their favorite coffee. I can see that they really love Starbucks coffee and their cosy environment. My parents wouldn't have come to this place on their own to have a taste of such aromatic coffee because they still feel that it's not worth paying five times more than a normal coffee in the kopitiam. This is where I should play my part as filial daughter and bring them there.

For the first time, I went for karaoke in Ipoh and sang for 5 hours. To my surprise, the songs selection here is more updated than Singapore. They served more drinks and it's far more cheaper. Afterwards, I headed for the official grand opening at Sincero Riverbank. There were cocktails and desserts being served. It wasn't a gratifying event after all.

Fireworks were being shot into the night sky. I like the outdoor environment of Sincero Riverbank as it was cosy enough for you to enjoyed the drinks.Five days trip in Ipoh has finally ended...
