So Long...Farewell

My colleague has left and went back to Philippines for good. Although that the time that we have known each other is short, but I just can't bear for letting her go.

Rowena, I'm missing you...

For three weeks, she's been crying every night. Depression and guiltiness is what she felt since she left her hometown for Singapore. I guess she really misses her daughter of 3-years-old in her hometown.

At last, she made her decision to leave Singapore. I wish you happiness and success. You are such a great colleague to me. Until we meet again, Rowena...

Unwell

Upon recovering from food poisoning, I caught cold afterwards.
I found myself more prone to have sickness than ever. After recovering from the flu, I get mild cough and I am about to lose my voice right now. Then, followed by gastritis today.

My immune system seems like going down under.

24-Hours Without Sleep

I was being called up for a karaoke session by my friends in the middle of Saturday night! What? Is this some kind of prank calls? Karaoke at 1 a.m??

They must be mad. But I say, heck...why not? My crazy fellow friends and me eventually sang until the dawn breaks! I have never tried in my entire life to have stay up for 24-hours without feeling sleepy.

Still looking energetic at 6 plus in the morning

This is madness but I had fun with you, guys. Love ya! :) Wish to have more madness hang outs!

Food Poisoning

Last Saturday, I met up with an old friend. We went for movie, 'I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry'. The movie wasn't that nice though. After movie, we went for dinner at Toa Payoh.

My friend, Wai Leng ordered muttons soup. When her food arrived on our table, the herbal aroma from her muttons soup was so irresistible that I could not stop myself to order one. All of my whole life, this was my second time to have tasted muttons. The muttons soup was good.
We went for a walk at The Central after that. Seeing the surroundings being decorated with colourful lanterns, we can't help but to start taking pictures :)

Sorry dear, I just can't get that lantern behind us into our picture

Well, not bad though to capture this huh?

Then, we had some ice-cream at Clarke Quay. The night was so relaxing. How great that if I could enjoy it everyday :)

The early next day, I woke up feeling stomach discomfort. I puke and diarrhoea for almost half of the day. I sms my friend and figured out that she was fine. Funnily that,
we had the same kind of food on that day but I'm the only one who got food poisoning!

The doctor said that it could be the person who prepared my food is unhygienic or it happens that a cockroach crawled over my food before it was being served to me.

Yucksss! How unlucky I am :(

I swear that no muttons again for the rest of my life. The puke that smells like rotten muttons is totally unbearable...

Name Translation

When I first heard my Indian colleague translated my sister's name, Natalie, which means 'anchovy' (ikan bilis). I thought it was funny enough to laugh at her name translation.

But then, could never imagine that my name translation even worst!

Ellie means 'RAT' in Tamil.
