Things I Hated Most Became Things that I Love Most

All my life, I swear that I never once like or I should say that I hated cats. Real cats, toys, figurines and enough said on anything that is associated with cats.  Cats are my enemy and so yes, I categorized the stuffs that I hated. Nevertheless, the most well-known "Hello Kitty" the cat. Looking at the sight of it, really making me sick. 

Today, I am not the Ellie Lam that you used to know. I started to look at the cats from a different angle and somehow I find myself started to love the things that I hated most. Now onwards, I collected the most recent kitties from McDonalds for SGD4.60 each with every value meal. This batch of kitties really blew my away. The colors of their suits that wrapped around the kitties flat-face head can transformed them into something that look so cute.

These are my first ever soft toys collection. Minus the Wizard and Singing Bones kitties. I didn't get to collect the whole set. The Hello Kitty craze is getting more and more absurd each week. Now that the craze has finally over today, none of you should be asking me for McDonalds again for the next few months. No, I'm not selling my collection away. Don't you dare to think about that!

Bought Furby Home

My niece, Megan's is turning 3 in a week's time. I've went around and found an absolute gift for her. Hope that she likes it!

She had been down with stomach flu recently. Diarrhea and puke for one and a half day. 

Before I bought Furby, I'm not quite sure if she likes it. Afraid that she may afraid of Furby's appearance. Because the price is not cheap and I don't wanna waste it. So what I did was, I made my sister to google the video clip of Furby and shown it to her. 

Oh boy, she kept replaying Furby's video clip again and again for few days. I think she likes it. She kept telling me, "Ah Yi, I want teddy-neow-neow". That's what Furby would say when being held upside down! LOL.

She told me she wanted this color. I bought and brought furby home :)

Megan was very jumpy in excitement when Furby is being unpacked and came lived.

Well, Furby is home.

Never Fail to Make Yourself Happy

It's been quite some time I have not update my blog. I have been pretty occupied with my works during the last two weeks. Now that the work is done, I could breathe freely :) Here are the entries of what I have did over the past weekends.

I went to Tanjong Beach at Sentosa for volley ball game with my friends. The game went quite well but not that exciting as most of my friends including me can't really play volley ball at all.



The weather was so nice that we had escaped from playing under the hot sun.

These photos were taken before the game started. The volley ball game ended 2 hours later. We went for a movie later on. We watched 'Stardust'. I saw of my friend were actually felt asleep throughout the whole movie. I hate seeing people falling asleep in the cinema while watching movie. It is very rude to do so. What's more when other people are paying for your tickets?

We could have reached home early after movie that night. But one of our friend kept us accompanying her until 5.30 a.m. -_-

Met up with Camille last weekend. Gosh! The last time I saw her was on her R.O.M day. She had changed a lot, physically. Besides being a happy housewife, she has been patiently and excitingly expecting the arrival of her baby boy.

Do every pregnant ladies always looks so beautiful?

I can't wait to the arrival of her baby.

Many of my friends are pregnant. One of them just recently gave birth to a baby girl. I felt very excited for her. Congratulations to May on the arrival of your baby girl! ;)

Last Friday I went for movie marathon. Watched two movies in-a-row. Saw IV and Beowulf. It's a very tiring but I enjoyed it. Crazy me :p

These are the pets which never fails to make me happy. Dogs are men best friends. True indeed. After having a hard day, dogs are always there to keep you cheer up at all time.

Introducing Patches and Zen Zen

I am glad that they are getting along very well.

When Zen was little puppy
Zen Zen just had her 2nd birthday on last week. On yesterday, my sister and her friends had throw a party for her where Zen had had fun with other doggies.


Zen had swam, played and ate lots of good food on her birthday party. She is my all time favorite dog :)

My sister is going to adopt another doggie. Apart from having Zen, by adopting another doggie will be full of excitements! :)

Hey, Patches!

Patches is very tame and behaves timidly to strangers. She likes to be pampered a lot compare to Zen. I wish to keep Patches on my own but despite of my living lifestyle, I will feel extreme sorry that if I could only spend a little time with her. :(


Let's hope that Patches could get along with Zen.
