Hubby's Birthday Celebration

Good mood! Yesterday, went to Cineleisure at Orchard and thought of wanna catch a movie with hubby but unfortunately no movie tickets left for the timing that we wanted! Sobsss!

Next, headed for early dinner to celebrate baby's advanced birthday celebration at Sushi Tei @ Paragon. It's hubby celebration afterall...so let him be the boss and choose the items the he wants to eat...

Seaweed salad with Sushi Tei dresssing

Sorry...I forgot. This item was chosen by me. Supposingly it will taste better if it's a sashimi salad. The whole salad is ruined by the strong taste of sesame oil! I hate sesame oil! The rest of the food below was ordered by hubby.
Cha Soba

Gyoza

Gyuniku Roll

Lobster Sashimi

My first virgin of having lobster sashimi. It's very fresh but tasted bit fishy though. The lobster's legs is actually still moving lively! Not use to having raw lobster meat.

Loster in miso soup

The lobster's head and shell was then later use to serve in miso soup. Now that it taste better at least but my stomach is gonna burst soon!!!

...and lots more sushi that we consumed but didn't take any photos of it.

Went down to Plaza Singapura and thought can get a movie tickets but all sold out too! Soobssss again!

Chilled out at Starbucks instead and enjoy my hot latte with hubby for the night.

Geylang Lorong 8 Tin Gai Juk

Went for walk with hubby yesterday at Takashimaya.

Bought an advanced birthday gifts for hubby. Hope that you love it baby ^^

Ended the day with dinner at Geylang Lorong 8 for porridge with spicy froggies :P

Would be better if it's more spicy!

My cravings for the day has been satisfied ;)

Uni-President Spicy Beef Bowl Noodles

Yay!~ Hubby bought these bowl noodles from Taiwan with the help of his colleagues. Uni-President spicy beef bowl noodles is the only particular brand that is so..so...so...so tasty.

In fact, this was the second time I had it. The first time was in last year when Kenny went for reservist in Taiwan and bought it back for me.

Look at those chunks of beef!

Can't resist my temptations of having it now :p.......

Gotta grab a bowl now! See ya!

My First Spoonful

It's too ashamed to say that after 7 years that I have been in Singapore, I have no intention try this out at all. I always have this thought that it won't be filling at all by drinking a bowl of soup.

Until then, when hubby brought me for dinner at The Soup Spoon.

Meatless Minestrone with Gremolata

My colleague told me before that their signature soup is a must try. I give it a try then. Hubby was smart to have ordered the bread bowl so it must be very filling after all right?

Yummm...it's so tasty :D....
It taste so gooooood!

But...if you intended you try this, I suggest that you should order it in a bowl instead of bread because the bread soaked up all my soup!!

From P.M. to A.M

A friend of mine came to Singapore last week. During her staying here, we did a lot of things together. She loves to eat, so we went for steamboat at Bugis.

We even went for dinner at The Manhattan Fish Market at Central. Too bad that she came late and she missed the delicious tasty food. I ordered their house specialty, Flaming Platter for One.

The platter was being served together with garlic rice. So, it is more than enough to fill up your stomach. This platter is so delicious and I am satisfied! :)

Next, we headed to Ministry of Sound. The club was kinda disappointing on that night because the DJs put on the records that wasn't really sounds good for us.

This is the colours of life.

Wish that your life were this colorful?

We still managed to hang out until the club closed. Afterwards, we went for early breakfast at Mcdonalds. Our conversation went long and we chatted until the sun rises! Again, I stayed out more than 24-hours this time. I felt like a zombie...

Zombies that crawled around in the early morning.

I guessed that Sabrina
have fun during her staying here. She is very happy that she could finally accomplished her mission of forcing us to accompanied her to hang out with us until the next morning.

I am still feeling so energetic.

I must be gone crazy.

Dull Day

I am feeling dull today.

I saw something and I bought it when I'm on my way home. Definitely it is not something of what you are thinking now. It is something that can be defined by few dollars. I am happy now.

Today, I also made someone very unhappy. I hope that this would make you happy again!

I give you strawberriesssss-ness!

I am contented.

Life Is Good

Life is good if you know how to enjoy it. Over the weekend, I went for karaoke with my friends. Singing is good for stress released. With all the yelling, all my frustrations will be gone.

When will it be our next ktv session?

After a hectic and tiring weeks of working, know how to pamper yourself with good food sometimes...

If you like to go for Japanese food like me, I suggest that you should try it at Sushi Tei. Their raw food is very fresh and they deserved two thumbs up. Especially, their Sashimi salad with their very own Sushi Tei dressing.

Mouth-watering Sashimi salad
Not to forget to try for their desserts too.

Ice-cream is my favourite

Hunger for spicy tom yum noodles...where to go? Too hungry to search for it else where and ended up, having it at the Ajisen Ramen.

Their tom yum ramen it's quite good but the portion is quite small and it's NOT SPICY enough for me.

Wanna make your day more happy? Grab for an ice-cream will do!

According to the scientist, by eating ice-cream will increase your level of happiness and satisfaction. So, start chilling out now!

Does anyone know where to find yummy spicy food like Penang Laksa and Tom Yum soup/noodles in Singapore?

Food Poisoning

Last Saturday, I met up with an old friend. We went for movie, 'I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry'. The movie wasn't that nice though. After movie, we went for dinner at Toa Payoh.

My friend, Wai Leng ordered muttons soup. When her food arrived on our table, the herbal aroma from her muttons soup was so irresistible that I could not stop myself to order one. All of my whole life, this was my second time to have tasted muttons. The muttons soup was good.
We went for a walk at The Central after that. Seeing the surroundings being decorated with colourful lanterns, we can't help but to start taking pictures :)

Sorry dear, I just can't get that lantern behind us into our picture

Well, not bad though to capture this huh?

Then, we had some ice-cream at Clarke Quay. The night was so relaxing. How great that if I could enjoy it everyday :)

The early next day, I woke up feeling stomach discomfort. I puke and diarrhoea for almost half of the day. I sms my friend and figured out that she was fine. Funnily that,
we had the same kind of food on that day but I'm the only one who got food poisoning!

The doctor said that it could be the person who prepared my food is unhygienic or it happens that a cockroach crawled over my food before it was being served to me.

Yucksss! How unlucky I am :(

I swear that no muttons again for the rest of my life. The puke that smells like rotten muttons is totally unbearable...
